Casa Garita sits on a garden lot with two separate terrace spaces. The large, airy central living & dining area has a dramatic double-height brick boveda ceiling with a skylight and fireplace. The kitchen is on the far wall of this loft-like room. There is also a large queen size bedroom on the main floor. Each bedroom is a master suite with its own dedicated bathroom, and it includes another half bath on the main floor. The house is within walking distance of Centro, San Miguel’s historic city center.
The staircase to the rooftop deck has a detractable glass ceiling and opens onto a huge terrace. There are extraordinary views of historic San Miguel Centro, as well as miles wide sunset vistas of the surrounding countryside. Newly renovated rooftop with an outdoor rooftop kitchen, grill, refrigerator and sink. The adjoining terrace has built in benches surrounding a fire feature to keep you warm during the cool evenings. Added plants and fruit trees to the roof allow for a warm, intimate feeling while giving you fresh limes for your rooftop margaritas (when in season). Exquisitely decorated, within walking distance of San Miguel’s many shops, markets and restaurants, this home is a special luxury find in San Miguel de Allende.

If you looking for a great place to stay and have a great San Miguel experience, you can stay in Casa Garita. Everything is better than in the pictures: decoration, beds, etc. We stayed for two days to celebrate new year and we had a amazing time.
Great stay! The rooftop was the highlight. Very central to all downtown had to offer.
Absolutely loved this Airbnb. One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in, the crew here was so kind and accommodating. Location was easily five minutes from everything we needed & the rooftop views made it feel like staying in was still apart of vacation time. Can’t wait to come and stay again!
We LOVED this place! ? Our group of 6 got to reunite and experience San Miguel for the first time. We really enjoyed the rooftop views and spent the evening inside reminiscing and listening to music. I cannot recommend this house enough, and I hope I get to come back soon.
What a unique and expansive home located just up into the hills surrounding the town square of San Miguel. This home is a wonderful location on a more quiet, residential street, but not too far a walk uphill. The artistic combination of old and modern is very creative. Besides the overall style of the home, we especially enjoyed the roof deck with breathtaking views, and the wonderful bedding.

This place is perfectly located and a great place to stay in SM De A. I would highly recommend it as we had a great view of the cathedral and were able to walk everywhere. Hugo was so friendly and helpful.
